The Three Tiers pen is part of Sailor’s special Tea Time series, inspired by different tea time traditions from around the world. The Afternoon Tea collection draws on the graceful ritual of an English afternoon tea served with dainty finger foods. The colors of Three Tiers are inspired by delicate three-tiered cake stands. This pen features a white body with powder blue, sapphire blue, and silver accents that call to mind fine china teaware.

This version of the Three Tiers pen is the King of Pens, Sailor’s largest fountain pen. The pride of this majestic pen is its extra-large 21k gold nib, which feels wonderful to write withresponsive and smooth-flowing. The body of the pen is also an impressively kingly size, but its made of lightweight resin with a tapered shape that makes it comfortable to hold.

The Pro Gear King of Pens features a the same classic shape as the smaller Pro Gears, with a flat-top cap and a round barrel and grip, and comes with a converter and ink cartridges to get you started. Sailor makes their gold nibs in-house, and they’re known for being exceptionally precise, with a unique feedback sensation. (Note that they run on the fine side, like other Japanese fountain pen nibs.)
