Kokuyo’s Jibun Techo is a Japanese planner that’s ideal for tracking projects and logging details about your life, as well as keeping on top of your week. The Jibun Techo has lots of thoughtful details to help you stay on track, but it’s open-ended enough to give users flexibility.
The main part of the Jibun Techo is a vertical weekly planner. Each planner spread is devoted to one week, divided into vertical columns for each day of the week, which are subdivided into an hourly schedule. Each day’s column includes extra space for notes, and also features little icons you can use to track the daily weather, the phase of the moon, and daily highlights and lowlights. The days of the week are helpfully color coded, and in the margin of each spread is a checklist for weekly tasks.
The beginning of the planner contains an overview of yearly calendar dates, a yearly index for recording important dates, and monthly calendar spreads so you can see the whole month at a glance. It also includes a series of lists, charts, and extras which are great for anyone who loves to log and track information. These include a helpful habit tracker section for every month of the year, where you can track multiple habits or projects at a time; a monthly money planning section; a dream log; a wish list; a book list; a movie list; a gift tracker; and several other logs and references.
This planner is made with thin but high quality, fountain pen friendly paper that helps keep the book from getting bulky. It comes with a clear plastic protective cover that includes several pockets, card slots, and a pen loop.
